Since 1976, NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans has helped nearly 1,000 children and adults who are deaf, physically disabled, or autistic to live more independently through partnership with a specially-trained canine. Dogs are rescued from shelters throughout the country or acquired as puppies, raised by foster families or through our successful Prison PUP Partnership Program, and then return to our Princeton, Massachusetts, campus for advanced skill and team training with their new human partner.
Providing independence . . . one dog at a time.
