3 Fall Fairs


Sea Dog Press is kicking off the fall fair season with Handmade for the Holidays located at the beautiful Gore Estate in Waltham. The fair runs from 10am-4pm this Saturday, September 17. It looks to be a lovely day. Meet local handmade crafters and fiber artists in a relaxing, outdoor atmosphere. Take in the fall season at this gorgeous 19th-century estate and cross everyone off your holiday gift list! Ample free parking and free admission for shoppers. This event takes place inside the 1793 Carriage House, in the open-air outdoor Century Tent, and outdoors on the spacious lawns at Gore Place.

The following weekend, September 24 & 25, we’ll be at the 2022 Fruitlands Craft Festival on the Fruitlands Museum picturesque grounds, overlooking the Nashoba Valley and the New Hampshire mountains. Featuring two 140’ x 40’ festival tents with 48 juried New England Artisans. The show’s quality of handmade craft, museum offerings, and stunning views has made the festival a popular September destination. It is the perfect event for a fall outing to plan your holiday gifts for family and friends.

And lastly is RISD Craft on the campus of Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. Saturday, October 8 from 10am – 4pm on Benefit Street. RISD Craft features handmade fine art and design work by over 130 artists. The work on view speaks to the quality, attention to detail, and mastery of craftsmanship students and alumni hone at RISD and bring to their own practices in a wide variety of media.
